Roll to good side - level 1
Pulls self with good arm, moves affected leg with good leg. Starting position must be supine with legs flat not flexed.
Roll to good side - 2
moves leg actively and lower body follows. Arm is left behind
Roll to good side - 3
Arm is lifted by good arm, leg moves actively and body follows in block.
Roll to good side - 4
Moves arm actively and rest of body follows in block
Roll to good side - 5
Moves arm AND leg and rolls to side but overbalances (shoulder protracts and arm forward)
Roll to good side - 6
Rolls to side in 3 seconds (doesn’t use hands)
Supine to sitting - 1
Side lying, lifts head sideways but can’t sit up (assisted to side lying)
Supine to sitting -2
Side lying to sitting over side of bed ( therapist assists but patient controls own head position)
Supine to sitting - 3
Side lying to sitting over side of bed (therapist gives stand by help by assisting legs)
Supine to sitting - 4
Side lying to sitting over bed with stand by help
Supine to sitting - 5
Supine to sitting over edge of bed (no stand by help)
Supine to sitting - 6
Supine to sitting over edge of bed within 10 seconds (no help)
Balanced sitting - 1
Sits only with support (therapist assists into sitting)
Balanced sitting - 2
Sits unsupported 10 seconds (no holding on, knees and feet together, feet can be on floor)
Balanced sitting - 3
Sits unsupported with weight well forward and evenly distributed (head and thoracic spine extended, weight evenly distributed)
