What is a conflict theory?
A theory that suggest that society is in conflict between certain groups
what are the two divisions of class according to marxist
Bourgeoisie - the ruling class and owners of means and production.
Proletariat - the working class who are the relations of production and are oppressed by the bourgeoisie.
Define the term Alienation
This is a state where workers feel de-attached from their products, which makes them feel powerless .
What is a false class conciousness
This is the way the proletariats are made to belive that their oppression by the bourgeoisie is normal and if they work hard enough they can become part of the ruling class

Features of a capitalist society
1.The proletariat are legally free and separated from the means of production
- Competition between capitalists lead to the means of production becoming concentrated.
- The proletariat do not receive the value of their goods that their labour produces, but only the cost of subsistence.
The features of Communist Society
- Collective ownership of the means of production and abolish of production for profit.
- Stateless and Classless society
- Reclaiming control over the workers labour and products they create (end alienation)
