Simple Change of Lead
Should be 3-5 walk steps
- Trot in or out = 6

- Walk and then wrong lead = 4

Arena Size
Standard Arena = 20m x 60m
- 12m between long side letters (ie between R and M)
- 6m from corner letter to short side
Small Arena = 20m x 40m
- 14m between long side letters ( ie between B and M)

Two breaks in the walk
Not more than a 5
Turn on the Haunches
- If horse resists contactor doesn’t bend correctly, 6 or 5 depending on degree;
- If horse sticks one step but ben and contract have no serious faults - 5;
- Falls out behind a small step or two - 5 or 4 depending on amount of bend and contact; with resistance and poor bend - 4;
- Sticking more than one step - 4 or less depending on basics;
- Turn on middle - 3 or 2 depending on basics
Basics/Biomechanics
Gaits, impulsion, submission and rider influence show the quality of the training.
Have to do with the training scale.
Execution/Criteria
Fulfillment of the criteria of the movement including such things as correctness of the figures, clarity of the transitions within the simple changes, angel of the shoulder-in, etc. must be considered.

Errors of Course
Deviations from the correct pattern omission of a movement. This usually requires ringing the bell to get rider back on course.
Errors of the Test
Deviations from the requirements (e.g., rising instead of sitting or no salute).
