To ensure any product or service that is sold by somebody as it is described
To prevent misleading advertising
Products must have an accurate description

The ensure the sale of any goods is up to industry standards and safety standards
States that customers have the right to return a product
States that food products must have the correct batch numbers and best before dates
Summarise the Product Labelling: The Law.
States that labels need to be accurate, products have clear labelling of the price, should have manufacturing details and what materials are used to make it, what the product can do and safety information

Makes sure a product has an accurate weight or measure
Ensures that people are getting what they pay for
