- Each link has the potential to add or subtract value from the product the consumer eventually buys

Shock Tactics
Some marketers use extreme or controversial content to grab attention, which can be offensive or psychologically harmful to viewers. While sometimes effective, these tactics can backfire and damage a brand’s reputation if not carefully executed.

Involves marketing activities where consumers are unaware that marketing is taking place. Examples include fake reviews, disguised sponsored messages, or undisclosed paid endorsements on social media.
