- Out of community of property with accrual system- is when the assets and liabilities of the spouses before marriage remain theirs, and the assets and liabilities that they acquire during the marriage is jointly owned.
- Out of community of property without accrual system - when all the assets and liabilities, before and during the marriage remain theirs, and there is no sharing.

- They have the right to choose without being coerced.
