Characteristics of a kelp forest
Large plants attached to rocks, expending themselves to try and reach sunlight. These large plants often block out sunlight below.
What animals live in a kelp forrest
Smaller algae and animals i.e.. jellyfish, starfish sea urchins
Characteristics of a sea grass meadow
Sea grass meadows grow in mostly sheltered, shallow coastal waters. And the plants are usually anchored in sand or mud
Animals found in sea grass meadow:
banjo rays, eagle rays, fish, port jackson shark
Characteristics of sandy shores and bottoms
They are highly dynamic environments, but is a difficult habitat to live in due to the rapidly changing conditions
What animals live in sandy shores and bottoms
Although this habitat may look bare, it houses many animals such as: Crabs and Worms
Characteristics of the intertidal zone
This area is above the water at low tide, and submerged during high tide. It generally has high exposure to the sun and the organisms that live there are highly adapted to the harsh extremes.

Barnacles, Crabs, oysters, Limpets, Muscles

Lots of places to shelter for animals

Lots of sea urchins, Cuttle fish, wobbygong sharks, groper fish
