Loyalty- This Requires that every military leader must be prepared to carry out orders as long as they are lawful and moral
To the Nation- believing in truth, justice, freedom and equality.
For marines: They are willing to defend these ideals, ideals that many wars were fought and many Marines died.

- Marines are obligated to accomplish their mission to the best of their ability
- They should attend to their commitments and seek to improve themselves in all ways all the time

- Leader’s actions and the Unit’s actions should always reflect what is best for the Corps and the nation
- Mission comes first then the unit then the leader

- You do what needs to be done regardless of stress, exhaustion, or other conditions in the situation
- Self-Discipline will help you develop your natural talents and abilities.
- You will be able to withstand more and be able to do more in various situations
