why are choropleth maps used?
they are used to help people understand and to show populations
why do you think choropleth maps are useful?
because of the visual representation of colour used in them. if you understand what the different shades mean, then you will be able to understand the populations better

what is a choropleth map?
it shows the population density of (a) place(s) with different shades of one colour (usually green). the lighter the shade, the lower the population density. the darker the shade, the higher the population density.
