6 figure grid references. Do you look at the bottom number first, then you choose a number from 1-9 and place it as a ruler and indicate the number roughly on a scale where it is, after look at the numbers on the side and finally choose another number from 1-9 roughly where it would be in a scale?

What is the definition of linear patterns? Give advantages and disadvantages.
Linear patterns are where the houses are in a straight line. Advantages-easy to build, transport links. Disadvantages- traffic, noise, bad views, contamination, accidents etc.
What is a nucleated settlement? Give advantages and disadvantages.
It is a settlement built at a central point (eg. Town square) advantages- lots of facilities. Disadvantages- noise, urban environment, traffic, difficult to find and buy a house.
What is a dispersed patterns? Give advantages and disadvantages.
They are rural- surrounded by countryside, houses are far apart. Advantages- no noise, farmers have farmland, no traffic, bigger houses, etc. disadvantages- dangerous animals, bad transport, not many facilities and no choice of employment.
