What is the border on a map
borders identify exactly where the mapped area stops
What is the orientation on the map

What is the legend on a map
The legend is where the symbols on the map are explained and it explains what they represent

What is an alphanumeric grid referencing

What is the area referencing
Each x and y axis has two digit numbers that are known as eastings and northings. horizontal numbers increase as they move east and vertical numbers increase as they move north. The two-digit numbers on each axis are put together to make a four-digit number that will pin point the location on a map.
