parallel park

Answer 1

1. pull up next to car, ~1m space then ADJUST LEFT MIRROR
2. complete full checks - reverse until back seats in line with front/back of car
3. check right blind spot then turn wheel LEFT and reverse until pavement disappears through back windscreen
4. turn wheel RIGHT and reverse until pavement through half of front door handle (if goes past will end up too close to curb)
5. turn wheel RIGHT and reverse until straight
6. Turn wheel left to straighten up

Question 2

reverse bay park

Answer 2

1. do all checks then reverse until 3rd line from bay is in centre of diagonal stitching on car door
2. lock wheel RIGHT, do checks then reverse into bay
3. when bay line shows in left mirror STRAIGHTEN WHEEL then continue to reverse
4. stop when in bay - stop line should be in centre of back door handle

Question 3

park on right

Answer 3

1. indicate and park on right when safe
2. do all checks and reverse SLOWLYYYY - stop and check right blind spot occasionally
3. KEEP WHEEL STRAIGHT PLEASE

forward park in bay

Answer 4

preferably right bay - turn in when wing mirror in line with bay line
