GPWS WARNING
PF PM
1. Disengage autopilot & autothrottle. 1. Monitor & Call Deviations
2. Aggressively apply maximum* thrust.
3. Simultaneously roll wings level & pitch attitude of 20°.
4. Retract speedbrakes.
5. If terrain remains a threat, continue rotation up to the pitch limit indicator (if available) or stick shaker or initial buffet.
BREAK-OUT PROCEDURE - PF
PF
1. Disengage the Autopilot. Leave the Autothrottle engaged.
2. Call: “ENGAGE HEADING SELECT” & “ENGAGE LEVEL CHANGE”.
3. Fly Breakout Procedure and configure as needed (TOGA if req)
4. -Re-engage the Autopilot as needed on Breakout Heading
BREAK-OUT PROCEDURE - PM
- Set the breakout heading.
- Set the breakout altitude.
- FD’s OFF and then back to ON.
- Engage HDG SEL and LVL CHG on the MCP.
- Read back breakout heading and altitude requirements to ATC.
- Configure the airplane as directed by the PF.
Rejected Takeoff ( VOZ ) PF.
Without delay:
1. Simultaneously close the thrust levers, disengage the autothrottles
2. Confirm AUTO BRAKE engaged if AUTO BRAKE DISARM light illuminates MAX MAN BRAKE
3 Raise SPEED BRAKE lever.
4. Apply reverse thrust up to the maximum amount
5. Continue maximum braking until certain the airplane can stop
6. Call “CHECKED” at 60kts, call “CHECKED” for “AUTOBRAKE DISARMED”
Traffic Advisory TA
- Look for traffic using traffic display as a guide. Call out any conflicting traffic.
RA except a climb in landing configuration:
- Disengage the autopilot and disengage the autothrottle.
- Smoothly adjust pitch and thrust to satisfy the RA command.
- Follow the lateral flight path unless conflicting traffic requires action.
RA in landing configuration:
- Disengage the autopilot and disengage the autothrottle.
- Thrust levers forward to maximum thrust, call for FLAPS 15.
- Smoothly adjust pitch to satisfy the RA command.
- Follow the lateral flight path unless conflicting traffic requires action.
- Verify a positive rate of climb. call “GEAR UP.”
Nose High Recovery
- Disengage autopilot & Disengage autothrottle
2 .Recover: Apply nose-down elevator. - Reduce thrust
- Roll (adjust bank angle) to obtain a nose down pitch rate*
5.Complete the recovery: When approaching the horizon, roll to wings level Check airspeed and adjust thrust Establish pitch attitude.
Nose Low Recovery
- Disengage autopilot& Disengage autothrottle
- Recover: Recover from stall, if needed
3, Roll in the shortest direction to wings level. If bank angle is more than 90 degrees, unload and roll.* - Complete the recovery: Apply nose up elevator Apply nose up trim, if needed* Adjust thrust and drag, if needed.
Windshear Caution “MONITOR RADAR DISPLAY”
- Maneuver as needed to avoid the windshear.
Windshear Warning “WINDSHEAR AHEAD, WINDSHEAR AHEAD”
- before V1, reject takeoff
- after V1, perform the Windshear Escape Maneuver.
Windshear Escape Maneuver PF
