Question 1

How would you perform a Forward park into a bay to the right?

Answer 1

• Stay to the left of the road
• When shoulder is about a good past the line steer fully right (1 1/2 turns)
• When parallel, steer a 1 1/2 back

Question 2

In addition- How would you Reverse out of a bay?

Answer 2

• Reverse back until mirrors are level with the line

* Steer left or right (depending on where you are going)

Question 3

How would you perform a Head first into a bay on the left?

Answer 3

• Move to the right side of the road
• When shoulder is level with the line
• Steer 1 full turn to the left (1 1/2 turn)
• When car is parallel 1 1/2 turn to right

Question 4

How would you perform a Reverse into the bay?

Answer 4

• Take up position in the middle of the road
• Reverse back
• When right hand door pillar is half way between two lines
• Steer fully right it left (depending on which way you are going)
• When car is parallel with line
• Steer left or right (depending on which way you are going)

Question 5

How would you perform a Reverse park with car?

Answer 5

• Pull along side another car
• Reverse back and steer one full turn left (360°) at any time
• When car is at a 2 O’clock position steer one full turn (360°) to the right
• When the crib disappears
• Steer a half turn (180°) to the right

Question 6

How would you perform a Pull up on the right?

Answer 6

• When it’s safe pull over to the right gradually and stop
• Reverse and go back two car lengths
• Remember to look over left shoulder before moving off again

Question 7

How would you perform and Emergency stop?

Answer 7

• Brake firmly and then foot quickly on clutch
• Once car is stationery, hand brake on
• Go into neutral
• Remember to check blind spots!!
