A
  • ↑ Osmotic diuresis by ↑ osmotic pressure of the glomerular filtrate
  • Inhibits H2O, Na+, K+ reabsorption
  • ↓ ICP/IOP by osmosis of fluid in brain paranchyma into intravascular space
