A
They wanted the resource rich area of Manchuria and the land that came with it

A
The Japanese railway was nearly Sabotaged by the “Chinese” and they said that China was in anachany

A
It was to far away,no troops could get there.could not impose sanctions(see Wall Street crash and depression)and because colony’s were in the area.
