Authority is centralized, manager makes all decisions, beneficial for those who need supervision, good in crisis situation

Laissez-Faire Management
Employees make their own decisions, no direction, authority decentralized
(+): sense of empowerment and fulfillment, creativity
(-): issues undetected, no guidance, staff are responsible
Consultative Management
Manager consults but makes decisions alone, beneficial for employees who want to give input, authority centralized but employees are considered
(+): motivation, better decision making
(-): time consuming, indecisiveness, chaos
