What is Planning?
Planning is the ability to define business objectives and determine methods or strategies which then will be used in order to achieve those set objectives.
What is Delegating
Delegating is when a manager transfers authority to an employee or an assistant who will then complete the task that was required for the manager. Although the authority has been transferred to the employee or an assistant, the responsibility is still on the manager.
What is Leading?
Leading is the concept of motivating people apart of the business to complete set business objectives. Examples of Leading is to encourage people within the business when they perform well in completing set business objectives and even reward them with a pay rise or a promotion, to cherish new ideas made by staff so that they feel more innovative and confident in sharing more ideas, and to share responsibilities for employees who are deemed fit to handle them.
What is Decision-Making?
Decision-Making is to analyze the current options that are available to the manager and to decide on the option that the manager believes is to be the most suitable one going forward.
What is Interpersonal Skills?
Interpersonal Skills is the trait of being able to make deals with people and to build strong relationships with other staff members. This includes being able to identify the perspectives of others, simple and clear communication with their staff members, Has empathy for other staff members when they are struggling, Inspires staff to perform to the best of their abilities and will mediate with staff members in order to resolves any conflict.
What is Communicating?
Communicating is information being transferred from one person to another inside and outside of the business.
