What are the two major divisions of breast cancer?
A
- Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC)
- Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC)

What molecular classifications of breast cancer are there?
A
- Luminal A ER+ - low grade and less proliferative
- Luminal B ER+ - high grade and more proliferative
- Three types of ER- cancer; normal breast like, Her2, and basal-like

What are the receptor based treatments of breast cancer?
A
- Oestrogen and progesterone receptor positive cancers respond to endocrine treatment (i.e. Tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitoon)
- Her2 positive cancers are treated with Trastuzumab (Herceptin)

- Nuclear pleomorphism
- The number of mitoses per mm2
