What is the scrotum?
Holds the testes. Keeps them 3 degrees below body temperature so the sperm inside doesn’t die.
What does the sperm duct/vas deferens do?
The tube where the sperm cells travel from the testes to the penis.
What are the testes?
Where the sperm cells are produced.
What is the prostate gland?
Secretes some of the liquid that is added to sperm cells to produce semen. The fluid added is alkaline, and helps keep the sperm safe once the enter the female.
What are the seminal vesicles?
Contribute to the making of semen. The fluid produced contains vitamins, sugars, proteins and enzymes, which provides energy for the sperm cell.
What is the urethra?
Tube inside the penis where semen and urine leaves the body.
What is the penis?
An outer reproductive organ, which contains the urethra.
