What is a fundamentalist?
A
People who think the bible is the direct word of God passed down through the writers. They believe everything in the bible is true (including the creation storey) and that most things should be taken for word.

What is a conservative?
A
Conservatives think that the word of God came to writers, but that their own personalities and writing styles were included.

What is a liberal?
A
Liberals argue that the bible writers were human beings capable of making mistakes and were influenced by ideas around them at the time (such as thinking the earth was flat). They believe the bible is the word of God interoperated - and sometimes wrongly.
