What is volumetric analysis?
A
- Process used using a volume and concentration of 1 reactant
- To determine concentration of another unknown reactant
- Ie. TITRATIONS

What key apparatus is used?
A
- Volumetric Pipette
- Burette
- Conical Flask

How do you make a volumetric solution?
A
- Weigh out precise amount of solid (3dp)
- Add to volume of water in beaker
- Stir
- Transfer to volumetric flask
- Rinse beaker with distilled water and add rinsing to flask
- Top up flask so the bottom of the meniscus is in line with the scratch mark
- Stopper the volumetric flask and shake gently
