Classification of open fraactures?

A

Gustillo-Anderson Classification
Type 1 - low energy wound < 1cm.
Type 2 - 1 to 10cm wound.
Type 3 - > 10cm or high energy wound/
Type 3a - Adequate tissue for coverage.
Type 3b - Extensive periosteal stripping and requires flat.
Type 3c - Vascular injury requiring vascular repair.

A

Soft tissue infection,
Osteomyelitis,
Tetanus,
Crush syndrome,
