A

Intuition

Seeking inner wisdom the priestess sits between J (Jachin - beginning) and B (Boaz- negation). Her knowing is beyond all logic and scientific ways of knowing. She mostly brings self-discovery, self-exploration, self-expression. But she can also mean selfishness and co-dependence. Careful not to linger to long with her.

7 (VII). The Chariot

A

Direction

The chariot is not controlled by reigns because it represents your soul and you are the driver. One dragon/horse is black and one is white- representing the two choices, the two roads. This quest will be taken weather it is well thought out and planned or you are dragged through ignorance and catastrophe.

8 (VIII). Strength

A

Inner Strength

Strength can come from many different places. When it comes from a place of anger, hate, or embarrassment it becomes weakness. But if it comes from a place of inner peace, kindness, forgiveness and mercy it becomes a strength much greater than that of ten men. Emotions are there for our souls to control, not for them to control us.

9 (IX). The Hermit

A

Inner Guidance, Contemplation

Reflect on leading yourself. Knowledge is gathering the information and wisdom is using it wisely. We exist to learn, and skills can only be acquired through practice- which means some failure is going to happen, but eventually perfection will rise from failure. Understanding your own mind heart and soul will teach you what you believe.

Clarity

The blindfold is there to remind that karmic balance is not there to help or hurt you. The yin/yang reminds us that the past contains the seeds of the present and the present contains the seeds of the future. You are finally seeing things for what they actually are.

12 (XII). The Hanged Man

A

Self Sacrifice, Different Perspective

Letting go and seeing the bigger picture, turn inwards and trust yourself. Facing the dark night of the soul, the decent into the underworld- staring into the abyss. Sometimes the situation at hand needs new outlooks and even though they may be hard to see if we keep a steady course the end will pull through the fog.

13 (XIII). Death

A

Transformation and Transition

Never meaning the death of a physical thing, but meaning the death of a old part of ones self. Like the shedding of of the skin the old way of thinking is left behind to die and new ways take hold. The mind is continuously growing but yet staying the same. The metamorphosis is the death of the old thought and the birth of the new ideas.

Q

15 (XV). The Devil

A

Slave to Excess

You have become your own slave to desire and temptation. For material things and you could easily release yourself and walk away but you do not want to, because the darkest parts of the self may become seen by others. So you keep your ego here, trapped and bound.

17
Q

16 (XVI). The Tower

A

Sudden Destruction (trauma)

Many are scared of the tower because of its physically destructive appearance but it is about emotional construction. Something was built quickly and rather badly (like a tower without concrete, only bricks) and when a tower is built like that it’s inevitably going to fall when it gets to high to hold itself up. The foundation needs to be reinforced and the bricks (even though it is a slow process) laid slowly with concrete so that it is a sound structure. Even so the structure is referring to a emotional relationship

18
Q

17 (XVII). The Star

A

Rejuvenation

After the fall of the tower take the time to contemplate and rejuvenate. Get back to nature, feel her rivers and ground yourself in her healing light. See your soul reflected in the stars of the universe and know you belong. Find your way, soothing after suffering.

19
Q

18 (XVIII). The Moon

A

Illusion

Because the light from the moon is only distorted light from the sun, there are bound to be shadows and reflections from our own souls that come to life. Be weary of not seeing clearly, of stumbling because the path is littered with fears real or imagined.

20
Q

19 (XIX). The Sun

A

Joy

Awareness and awakening, let all things come into the light and everything will work itself out! The good fortune of returning to a happier time is yours!! There will be joy and celebration! Your overcoming the fears and obstacles of the unconscious by obtaining knowledge.

21
Q

20 (XX). Judgement

A

A New Awakening

You must look behind you and recognize all stages of your life. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The past must be put in a box and tied up and put behind you. This is a card of deep transformation. The dawn of a new era- walking away from the past like a life left behind. Being called to a higher purpose, freeing yourself.

22
Q

21 (XXI). The World

A

Cycles

Endings and new beginnings, experience everything as a lesson, experience everything as a teacher, awareness and knowledge of the experience.

This can also signal the harmony of the inner and outer worlds, reaching the level of enlightenment. An era of ones life is complete.
