Major And Minor Chords Flashcards
Name the notes of major and minor triads
What makes these chords?
Major triad consists of
Root- major 3rd -5th
For your 3rd it’s 2 whole steps or 4 frets
After that it’s another whole and a half step
=’s 3 more frets a total of 7 frets from root to 5th.
Got it? 2 whole steps then a step and a half….
For minor just flatten the 3rd so you would go 3 frets then 4 frets just switching the numbers around….
