Engine oil and filter

A

Change Each 50 hours.

If optional oil filter is not installed: 25 hours

At least every 4 months it’s less than 50 hours accumulated.

Reduce periods for pool long areas in dusty areas, cold climates, or many short flights and long idle periods result in sludging conditions.

BRAKE master cylinder’s – check and fill SHIMMY dampener – check and fill
FUEL strainer-disassemble and clean
FUEL tank sump drains-drain water and sediment
FUEL line drain plug – drain water and sediment
VACUUM system oil separator (OPT) – clean
SUCTION relief valve inlet screen (OPT) – clean

When should you replace the vacuum system air filter (outside of periodic requirements)?

A

Replace sooner than 500 hours if suction gauge reading drops to 4.6 inches Hg

500 hours Servicing

A

Vacuum system air filter (OPT) - replace filter element (sooner if suction gauge reading drops to 4.6 inches)

Wheelbearings – lubricate. (Reduced to 100 hours if operating in dusty or seacoast areas, during periods of extensive taxing, or when numerous take offs and landings are made)
