25th of October Mao Zedong crossed yalu River into North Korea with 270,000 KPA. They despised American interventionist, committed communists, tanks and planes from USSR to back them up. Familiar with terrain like mountains and harsh climate.
They pushed UN and ROK forces back across 38ty parallel.
On 1st January KPA and PVA crossed 38th paraell into South Korea re took inchon and Seoul. Took weeks for UN to adjust

Kpa captured Seoul. Captured whole region except pusan pocket.
