Describe how to plot the magnetic field line of pattern (3)

Answer 1

• place a plotting compass near the pole of the magnet and make the direction that the compass points
• Move the compass around the magnet, marking at regular intervals in the direction that the magnet points
• Join the points up and add an arrow pointing from the North Pole to the South Pole
