I am divided into two groups, water-soluble and fat-soluble.
Vitamins
I am from a Greek word which means I AM FIRST and I can be had from both plants and animals.
Protein
I am otherwise called Lipids and I can be had from both plants and animals.
Fats
I supply energy to your body and a type of me called cellulose helps in preventing constipation.
Carbohydrates
I am found in many foods. I love to help in digestion and transport some of my other friends around your body. You must have plenty of me every day.
Water
I form the framework of your body and some of my family members are attracted to certain vitamins.
Minerals
Define a balanced diet.
Consuming meals that hold items from all the food groups in the correct proportions.
List the six nutrients found in foods.

Explain the multi-mix principle with regard to meal planning.

Vitamin B12
Tocopherol is the chemical name for the vitamin.
Vitamin E
It is associated with night blindness.
Vitamin A
This vitamin assists with the clotting of blood.
Vitamin K
It has a severe deficiency that leads to a disorder called cheilosis.
Vitamin B2
This vitamin is required for the prevention of the disease Beriberi.
Vitamin B1
