Describe the Cone of Fire
Each round fired in a burst will have a different trajectory. The pattern created is called the cone of fire.

Elliptical pattern formed on the ground on the target by the striking rounds.

Predetermined line along were Grazing Fire is placed to stop enemy assault. Fixed in direction and elevation.

Area where a solider is waist high to line of sight of gunner
Maximum Ordinates
Is the highest point above the line of sight the trajectory reaches between the muzzle of the weapon and the base of the target
Trajectory
Is the curved path of the projectile in its flight from the muzzle of the weapon to its impact
