A

Macbeth is rewarded for winning a battle by being given the title Thane of Cawdor which was taken from a ‘most disloyal traitor’
Macbeth sends a letter to his wife about the kind prophecy in which she is referred to as ‘my dearest partner of greatness’
Lady Macbeth plots to kill the King and urges Macbeth on by calling him a coward
