Who is Macbeth
Macbeth is thought of a brave fighter who soon becomes corrupt with power and ambition and eventually becomes king. Ridden with guilt by his evil actions he is defeated by his enemies
How does Macbeth express his thoughts
Through soliloquies (long speeches that the character is saying as if they are thinking out loud and the other characters can’t hear them)

Duncan Banquo and Macduff’s family
Why does Macbeth become corrupt
The witches tell him prophecies which makes him have big ambitions he gains power and becomes corrupt
How is Macbeth ambitious
At the start of the play he is thane of Glamis he becomes more powerful and becomes thane of Cawdor and then becomes king of Scotland. The witches predictions waken his ambitions which is deepened by his wife
What does Macbeth’s ambition show
It shows he is worried by the strength of his ambition and knows there will be obstacles in his way and is determined to get around them
How is Macbeth brave
He is seen as a mighty warrior and gains his old bravery at the end when he faces Macduff

Macbeth kept changing his mind about wanting to kill Duncan which shows that the key is keeping him persuaded to keep him determined which is shown by Lady Macbeth m
How is Macbeth’s guilty conscience shown
He troubled with thoughts of evil and gets caught up in guilt which causes him to hallucinate and have psychological effects especially after he kills Duncan and Banquo as he can not control his own feelings.
