A

Jacobean audience will notice Seytons name. Shakespeare implying that Macbeth is calling onto the devil or his servant

Macbeth’s actions throughout the play ensures he would have been dammed. Shakespeare uses Seytons introduction to highlight how Macbeth is doomed to hell.
