who is Macbeth?
Macbeth is Duncan’s cousin but he wants to kill Duncan to be king as he is power hungry

Macbeths wife and partner in crime and she manipulates him

he was the king, he sees people positively but sees the wrong people as good

he represents honour and worthiness towards the king he resists the temptations of the witches

the witches meet Macbeth and he is with Banquo. they tell Macbeth that he is going to be king of Scotland and thane of Cawdor and they tell Banquo that he wont be king but his offspring will be and then Duncan tells Macbeth that he has been given the title of thane of Cawdor. Banquo warns Macbeth of danger but Macbeth secretly becomes obsessed with the idea of becoming king
