Can argue that Macbeth kills Duncan to prove his masculinty to LM?

Symbolises life as a candle
Macbeth considers his mortality

LM tells Macbeth to be two-faced
Tells Macbeth to look innocent but be evil
“Look like the innocent flower but be the serpent under’t” - Lady Macbeth
Forshadowing Macbeths eventual downfall (he loses his mind - desire for power)

Morality is flipped upside-down

The witches are playing Macbeth and Banquo (forshadowing)
