Keychain
Store and manage passwords for applications, web sites, and network shares. Also stores private keys and certificates.
Mission Control
a tool to see every application currently open, can also use be to switch between applications or move applications to different virtual windows
Remote Disc
use files stored on a CD or DVD hosted from another computer. essentially allows remote access to an optical drive or external optical drive.
Spotlight
is a system-wide desktop search feature of Apple’s macOS and iOS operating systems, used for locating documents, music, photos, emails, and contacts. It also provides suggestions for Internet resources.
Finder
default file manager and graphical user interface shell of Mac OS. used to organize and navigate your files and folders.
similar to File Explorer in Windows.
Dock
GUI usually located at bottom of the screen used to hold shortcuts to most-used apps
most similar to Windows taskbar
Boot Camp
A multi boot utility included with Apple Inc.’s macOS
used to repartition the hard drive to install Windows OS allowing the switch between it and Mac OS X on the same computer
