What is Proprietary Government? (OLIGARCHY)
- assembly made up of rich white land owners
- contains a crown, lord proprieters, governer, nominated council and an elected assembly
What is the Old Representative System?
- contains the crown, the governor, nominated council and an elected assembly
What is Ministerial Government?
- universal suffrage was introduced but the governer was in charge of defence, security and external affairs
- contains the crown, governer, premier/cheif minister, legislative and executive
What is Full Self Internal Government?
- the governor acted on advice of the premier
- contains the crown, governor, premier/chief minister, the legislative and executive
What is Constituional Monarchy?
- the Governer General is symbolic representation of the monarch and can dismiss and appoint ministers, dissolve parliament and appoint judges.

What is Social stratification?
a system that varies on vertical mobility and chances of rising or falling down the ladder
What are “closed societies”?
when an individual has no chance of moving up or down the social stratification ladder
What are “open societies”?
when an individual has more vertical mobility and can even move up or down the social stratification ladder

around 10,000 years ago in agricultural societies using prisoners of war.
How has slavery evolved today?
is still exists in parts of the world which are africa, asia, and south america in 10s of millions
What are the types of slavery?
- Prisoners of ethnic conflict wars
- Girls & women kidnapped for sex slavery
- Children sold by their parents for child labor
- Abused and tortured workers paying off debts
What is the caste system and what kind of system is it?
the caste system is a closed system and is people born into unequal groups based on their parents status.
