Remedy a runaway gun

A
  • If less than 25 rounds, let run
  • If more than 25 rounds, pull round off belt
  • in emergency, twist belt and jam gun
    (Run it, rip it, or twist it)

-“MISFIRE”
- “5, 4, 3, 2, 1” for hangfire
- pull bolt to rear check for ejecting
- send bolt home check for feeding

A

PPAD
- Place weapon on safe
- pull charging handle to rear
- assume live round in chamber
- determine if hot barrel
(If/once barrel is cold, start cold barrel procedure)
