This tools are what you will use to select
portions of an image to edit.
Selecting Tool
This tool lets you select, move, or
modify specific points or path segments in a path or
a shape.
Direct Selection
This tool lets you select objects, anchor
points, or path segments by dragging along all or
parts of the object
Lasso tool
This tool creates a selection based on
the shift in brightness ranges within an image. If
there is a definable shift in the brightness of the
pixels, it can be a very powerful tool for the selection
of odd-shaped areas
Magic Wand tool
This tool simplifies path creation and
makes drawing easy and intuitive.
Curvature tool
This tool is a path creator. You can create
smooth path that you can store with a brush or turn
to selection
Pen tool
This tool allows you to draw straight paths with
a few mouse clicks.

This tool is inarguably one of the most
important tools within Adobe Illustrator. With it, you
can type out lines of horizontal text or align text to
follow a vector path,

This toollets you create rectangular and
square shapes in your artwork.

This tool is essentially a brush. You can
change the size, hardness and spacing, just like any
other brush.

This tool is used for drawing free path lines,

This tool rotate the object around its center point, drag in
a circular motion anywhere in the document

Rotate tool
This tool allows you to rotate, scale
(resize), reflect (mirror image), shear (slant), or
distort an object.
