What is a lymphoma?
A
Also cancer in the blood but originates from infection-fighting cells called lymphocytes
- It is a solid tumour however some cells can be found in the blood

- Hodgkin Lymphoma (Hodgkin’s disease)
- Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

What are some signs of lymphoma?
A
- Fever
- Swelling of face/neck
- Lump in neck (lymph nodes swelling)

What are the differences between Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma?
A
Hodgkin Lymphoma:
- Less Common
- Younger age diagnosis (median 39)
- Lymph Nodes in upper body
- Diagnosed early so easy to treat
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma:
- More common
- Older age diagnosis 55+
- Lymph Nodes anywhere in body
- Diagnosed late so hard to treat
