A

neoplastic tumour of lymphoid cells (forming discrete mass)

found in lymph nodes bone marrow and or blood

lymphoid organs

skin( t cell disease)

rarely anywhere (cns, testes occular)

200 cases per year

non hodgkins lymphomas 80%

hodgkins lymphoma 20%

sjorgens: marginal zone NHL of parotid lymphoma

gastric MALT ( marginal zone NHL) due to gastric chronic antigen stimulation, indolent condition treat with triple therapy

small bowel T cell lymphoma EATL (enteropathy associated T-cell non hodgkin lymphoma), aggresive mature T-CELL perforation abdo pain, B-SYMPTOMS

also hasmitots thyroiditis –> thyroid MALT lymphoma
