A

What is Stress Incontinence?

A

The tightening mechanisms, the sphincter mechanisms below the bladder surrounding the urethra is weak. Leakage occurs when abdominal pressure increases.

A

What is Overflow Incontinence?

A

Dysfunction in the lower urinary tract making the bladder unable to contract and expel the urine. If it’s full with urine and cannot contract, the pressure within the bladder will overcome the pressure within the urethra, so there will be sudden leakage.
