rapid breathing split by long pauses

crackling in the Upper respiratory tract by fluid
rhonchi
crackling in the lower respiratory tract by fluid
wheezing
difficulty breathing from narrowed or inflamed airways
stridor
vibrating noise from breathing
diminished
smaller tidal volume, common in older people
absent
no breathing at all
