How we take in the world. Our ingestion of Da Qi. Begins in middle jiao.

Begins Lu1. Ends Lu11. Enters Lu1. Exits Lu7.
- “gateway to the clouds.” Similar to Lu1, but resonates more with damp/phlegm conditions. Expels damp and w-d. can help emotions/PF move to exterior.
Lu2 - YunMen - Cloud Gate
- WTS pt. Calms spirit (po); psychological disharmony due to Lu disharmony; can treat heavy/depressive grief; clears Lu heat; cools blood (conceptually point proximal to he-sea point usually has to do with blood, particularly heat in blood); helps to open voice/throat; gives voice to grief/emotion allowing to express.
Lu3 - TianFu - Palace of Heaven
- Regulates Qi and blood in chest as well as cools blood. JY- only Lu point dealing with blood and the emotions; good for psychological cause of Lu conditions; helps breath to deepen; has regulating/settling properties for Lu; helps moisten Lu
Lu4 - XiaBai - Guarding the White
- He-Sea pt. Water pt. For heat/phlegm/cough; drains Qi-level heat from Lu; opens water passage benefitting the UB; Helps strengthen Lu/Ki connection. JY - resonates with Ki and fluids; As he-Sea pt, can help with vomiting and diarrhea
Lu5 - ChiZe - Cubit Marsh
Xi-Cleft pt; clears heat and stops bleeding in the Lu from all kinds of etiologies; treats hemorrhoids; treats stagnation of Qi causing heat; good for W-H scenarios; also for pain along channel;
Lu6 - KongZui - Maximum Opening - Greatest Hole / Collection Hole
Luo pt. Command pt for head and neck. Exit pt; opening point (Ren); scatters cold; diffuses Lu Qi to help release exterior; expels W-C; stimulates descention and dispersion; helps open nose; Jy - descends, but does not treat asthma; helps with bowel movements
Lu7 - LieQue - Broken sequence
Jing-River pt; Metal Point (Horari pt); treats cough, dypsnea; lingering heat or phlegm (chronic sore throat/sinusitis); “stuff thats kinda stuck in the lungs”; JY - needle this point with a pumping motion…idea is you are pulling stuff out that is sitting there; rids excess fluid in u.jiao; works well with LI and St points; disperses and descends
Lu8 - JingQu - Channel Gutter / Meridian Ditch
Shu-Stream pt; Yuan-Source Pt; Earth pt; Influential Pt (vessels); tonifies Qi and yin of Lu; promotes circulation of blood in the pulse (Qi dominated by Lu - Qi commands the blood, and thus the vessels); Harmonizes the gathering of Qi and blood; transforms phlegm due to Lu def; clears Lu when Lr heat is insulting Lu
Lu9 - TaiYuan - Great Abyss
Ying-Spring pt; Fire pt; clears heat; cools heat in Lu (exc or def); clears heat from throat; harmonizes St/Ht (heat transferred from St - Ht); nosebleeds; red eyes
Lu10 - YuJi - Fish Border
Jing-well pt; Wood pt; SSM GP; restores consciousness; fullness below Ht; affects throat powerfully; opens orifices; clears heat in all 12 channels; JY - helps bring Wei Qi to surface to help expel PF; most external antique pt - deals with skin/nose issues
