Superficial structures: lipomas arising from fat, sebaceous cysts arising from the skin, psoas abscess arising from the muscle.
NAVY structures (nerve-artery-vein-Y front to recall the order of structures as they emerge from the inguinal ligament, lateral to medial): neuroma arising from the nerve, femoral artery aneurysm arising from the femoral artery, saphena varix arising from the vein, lymphadenopathy arising from the lymph nodes.
The canals: femoral hernias arising from the femoral canal, inguinal hernias arising from the inguinal canal.
The testes: undescended testes.
