What are the 3 basic ingredients for and electrical circuit?
Source, Load, Conductor
What does it mean when a circuit is open?
It means the circuit is not complete
Does a closed circuit work?
Yes, when the circuit is closed the electricity has a path to flow through
What is a short circuit?
It’s when the path of electricity connects pre maturely before your source or load
What does a switch do?
Disconnects the load from the source
What do fuses and circuit breakers do?
They protect the circuit components from having too much current on them
Why does a battery need to go into an object with a certain orientation?
Because of polarity, the electrons can only flow in one direction.
How do electrons flow in Direct current?
Then flow in one direction
How is alternating current different?
The electrons instead switch back and forth in regular intervals
