Q

What are the steps to determine the Limiting Reactant?

A
  1. Write chemical equation if necessary
  2. Change amounts of both chemicals into moles (have to compare amount of particles)
  3. Convert both amounts into moles of the SAME chemical (so exactly the same unit).
  4. The original chemical that gives you the small number of moles is your limiting reactant.
