Why have I chosen this course?

A
  • intrest sparked when my brother was born
  • passion grew when studying HSC, helping me understand the importance of midwifery + helped increase my awareness of some of the barriers that women face.

  • program organised by my school, would read with children below their reading age to support them.
  • helped me develop patience = necessary in a midwife = help support patients during labour.
  • commitment = important to show up & support = makes patients feel supported
