Ls 7-9 Flashcards
1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all
of you agree with one another in what you
say and that there be no divisions among
you, but that you be perfectly united in
mind and thought.
James 4:11-12
Brothers and sisters, do not slander one
another. Anyone who speaks against a
brother or sister or judges them speaks
against the law and judges it. When you
judge the law, you are not keeping it, but
sitting in judgment on it. There is only one
Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able
to save and destroy. But you—who are
you to judge your neighbor?
John 12:48
There is a judge for the one who rejects
me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn
them at the last day.
Galatians 3:15
Brothers and sisters, let me take an
example from everyday life. Just as no one
can set aside or add to a human covenant
that has been duly established, so it is in
this case.
Exodus 19:5-6
Now if you obey me fully and keep my
covenant, then out of all nations you will
be my treasured possession. Although the
whole earth is mine, you will be for me a
kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’
These are the words you are to speak to
the Israelites.”
Deuteronomy 7:7
The Lord did not set his affection on you
and choose you because you were more
numerous than other peoples, for you
were the fewest of all peoples.
John 1:11-12
He came to that which was his own, but
his own did not receive him. Yet to all who
did receive him, to those who believed in
his name, he gave the right to become
children of God—
Hebrews 8:7
For if there had been nothing wrong with
that first covenant, no place would have
been sought for another.
Rev 22:7
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the
one who keeps the words of the prophecy
written in this scroll.”
Luke 18:8
I tell you, he will see that they get justice,
and quickly. However, when the Son of
Man comes, will he find faith on the
earth?”
