Cabin/Cockpit Fire, Smoke or Fumes
- Crew Oxygen Masks – Don. Select 100 % Oxygen
- Smoke Goggles – Don
- EMER DEPRESS Switch – Lift guard, ON
- L and R OXY MIC-ON
- Pilot & Copilot Intercom (touch controller) - On
Emergency Descent or “CABIN ALTITUDE” Voice/CAS
- Crew Oxygen Masks – Don Select & 100% Oxygen
- Thrust Levers – IDLE
- Autopilot – Disengage
- SPOILER – EXT
- Descend at Mmo/Vmo, but not below minimum safe altitude
- DEPLOY (PAX OXY) – ON
- L and R OXY MIC Switches - ON
- Pilot & Copilot Intercom (touch controller) - ON
Emergency Evacuation
- EMERGENCY/PARKING BRAKE – Set
- Thrust Levers – CUTOFF
- EMER LTS Switch – ON
- EMER BATT, L & R BATT Switches – OFF
Engine Fire or “ENGINE FIRE” Voice
Affected Engine:
1. Thrust Lever – IDLE, unless a critical thrust situation exists.
2. If fire continues more than 15 seconds or there are other indications of fire:
a. Thrust Lever – CUTOFF
b. Applicable FIRE Switch (Engine) – Lift guard, FIRE PUSH
c. FIRE EXT #1 Switch (Engine) – Lift guard, ARMED PUSH
Engine Failure during Takeoff and Approach
- Below V1
- Brakes – Apply
- Thrust Levers - Idle
Engine Failure during Takeoff and Approach
- Above V1
- Rotate at VR to target takeoff pitch attitude; Climb at V2.
- LANDING GEAR – UP, when positive rate of climb is established
- Climb to 1500 feet AGL or Obstacle Clearance Altitude (as appropriate), accelerate to V2+25, retract flaps, then accelerate to 200 KIAS enroute climb speed.
Engine Failure during Takeoff and Approach
- During Approach
- Control Wheel Master (MSW) – Press & Release. Yaw damper & autopilot will disengage.
- Thrust Lever (Operative Engine) – Increase as Required
- Flaps – 20 degrees.
- Airspeed – Vref + 5
Immediate Engine Airstart
Affected Engine:
1. Thrust Lever – IDLE
IGN will automatically activate. If IGN does not automatically activate, IGN switch - ON
2. STBY Switch (FUEL) – ON
Emergency Braking
- EMERGENCY/PARKING BRAKE – Pull Smoothly
Rudder Control Jam
- Attitude Control – As Required. Use Roll Control & Thrust as Necessary
Aileron Control Jam
- Attitude Control – As required. Use Rudder & Thrust as Necessary
- ROLL DISC Lever – Pull (ROLL DISC White CAS)
a. Pilot - Control aircraft with the spoilerons.
b. Do not use the copilot control.
c. Do not use AIL TRIM.
Elevator Control Jam
- Attitude Control – As required. Use Pitch Trim & Thrust as Necessary.
- ELEV DISC Handle– Pull & Rotate (ELEVATOR DISC White CAS)
The pilot will control left elevator and copilot will control right elevator. - Determine elevator without the jam & transition flight control to that pilot
a. Do Not apply additional control force to the
jammed control.
b. Do Not use PIT TRIM BIAS.
Pitch Axis Uncommanded Motion
- Control Wheel Master Switch (MSW) – Press & Hold
- Attitude Control – As Required
- Thrust Levers – As Required
Roll or Yaw Axis Uncommanded Motion
- Control Wheel Master Switch (MSW) – Press & Hold
- Attitude Control – As Required
“OVERSPEED” Voice or Recovery from Inadvertent Overspeed
- Thrust Levers – IDLE
- Autopilot – Disengage
- SPOILER Lever – EXT. Do not extend spoilers with flaps extended
- Identify aircraft pitch and roll attitude.
- Level wings.
- Elevator & Pitch Trim – As required to raise the nose
